I found found Costa Rica when I was 23 years old when one of my workers in my painting company invited me to visit his family . I have not missed a year visiting Costa since . While attempting to arrive in Guanacaste I got lost and ended up in Santa Teresa and fell in love with its natural beauty and Wildness . I took a chance and hustled together all the funds I could and bought this 3 acres beach front property when I was 26 from Neo Mora a local who moved here when the government was giving away this land as long as you fenced it and farmed it for 15 years . Some of his 9 kids still live next door as does he does just across the road in a simple wooden house . Now 52 years old my wife Heather and my kids Phineas and Harper continue to enjoy our property as a connection to nature and family. We have kept it simple and natural and hope you enjoy it that way . I love that all the wood just builds up on the beach and it stays there no sign of man neatening it up . ( Emi from Poland handles communication , katty from Nicaragua does the cleaning and Quique from Uruguay handles the maintenance , we are an international team a real reflection of Santa Teresa and it’s unique population
