Newly renovated modern beach house, with mature lemon trees, within walking distance of local coffee shops and restaurants, and a short drive to the local beaches. Welcome to the Golden Grove Oasis! Designed by a local LB architect, the home was built to create a warm cozy space that encapsulates the breezy indoor/outdoor laid-back lifestyle that Southern California is famous for. The living room is furnished with a small collection of books, board games, and a 65” flat-screen Roku tv where you'll be able to enjoy Hulu, Netflix, and more. There is a soundbar + sub that will bring your movies to life, and which you can connect to via Bluetooth to play your music. The Kitchen is well equipped with all the latest appliances and everything you need to enjoy a home-cooked meal if your hunger desires. Grocery supplies are locally available right around the corner. Dining space is provided at the kitchen island for a quick bite or four can sit comfortably at the table in the eating nook. The backyard is a completely private space with two large Pergolas to hang out, cook some food on the flat-top grill, and cozy up by the fire. When in season (November to June) our Lemon Trees will be full of fruit that you may help yourself to. The lawn is a newly installed soft artificial turf grass rated safe for children and pets. Both of the bedrooms are furnished with a queen bed, dresser, and medium-sized closet space with hangers + luggage rack. For your sleeping pleasure, especially if warding off jet lag, both bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling blackout curtains and a HEPA-rated air purifier that also functions as a great white noise machine. Additional sleeping is provided on the super comfy couch in the living room or on a queen-sized blow-up mattress. The house is fully maximized to fit up to 5 people. However, the optimal group size is between 3-4. We've accommodated groups of 5 before, and though it will work, it is a cozy fit at that number. Please consider this before booking, as we only have 1 bathroom. The bathroom has dual “Jack and Jill” sinks and an extra-large bathtub with a large 12-inch waterfall shower head. Located outside of the bathroom is our Laundry Station where you'll have full access to the washer and dryer (we provide detergent for a few cycles). There is a desk in the master bedroom that makes for a great workspace if you need a few hours to catch up on emails or work remotely for an extended period. The entire interior and backyard are covered by a gigabit fiber internet mesh network so Zoom calls will always be in HD. I am available to answer questions via the app, phone or text!
