Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and self-contained cosy cottage, a stone’s throw from the waterside by the South West Coastal Footpath. Ten minutes from Plymouth City centre by car, water taxi or bus. Easily accessible from the Brittany Ferry Port at Millbay. Many pubs, cafes shops close by. The Cottage is a great base to explore all that Plymouth, South West Devon and South West Cornwall offer, including beaches, beautiful Dartmoor, and several National Trust properties. The Cottage is around 200 years old, with thick stone walls, slate floors and beamed ceilings. You enter through the front door to stairs ahead, leading to the bedroom. The stairs are steep, with a handrail. On the ground floor is the lounge with a comfy reclining sofa, tv, wifi and books. A couple of steps lead up to the kitchen, which is light and airy, with a high ceiling and ancient beams. To the side of the kitchen you will find a full bathroom, with an over-bath shower, toilet and sink. On the other side of the kitchen is a light and airy conservatory where you can enjoy a morning coffee. Outside, up old stone steps, is a private garden for you, with a sunny spot to sit. Upstairs is a double bedroom with a comfy bed and plenty of storage space. A blackout blind and curtains help ensure a good night’s sleep. There is plenty of on street free parking within 3 metres of the front door, or if you prefer, you can park your car directly in front of the cottage on the drive.
