Amazing views across the river and city and watched some stunning sunsets. Pubs and lovely coffee shop within easy walking distance. Accommodation had everything we needed for a short stay and was nice and clean.

We stayed here for three nights with two adults and two young children. The property was perfect. Stunning views, everything we needed (and more) and the kids loved it just as much as we did. A peaceful stay close to the ferry over to the Barbican, little beaches walkable distance for the kids. Lovely pub next door too! The owners sent lots of n useful information, we’re very quick to respond and always helpful. We hope to stay at the charming cottage again soon.

William was a super host very responsive, helpful and friendly. The accommodation was fantastic, we felt really at home. Out of all the listed amenities available there was only 1 thing missing which was no salt 🧂 which is trivial in the grand scheme of things. The house was clean and cosy, with a balcony and a downstairs garden we could move location as and when the sun moved. There are a number of walks in the area which you don’t even need the car to get to some if you do not wish to. We would highly recommend a stay in this cosy cottage in Turnchapel.
