The house is set in a quiet, tranquil and very relaxing atmosphere with incredible 360 degree mountain views and the most beautiful and colorful sunsets! There are horse sign crossings as you get closer to the property because there are plenty of open land where wild horses roam freely and they can even go up close to the property at times (even going into our backyard which is near government land that will never be built on). Also, the horses will almost often walk through our front yard area and have even come up close to our front walkway. It was amazing and rare to see!
The property is close to casinos, restaurants and shopping. But for outdoor enthusiasts, we're within close proximity (literally within minutes) to open land areas where you can trek in your 4-wheel trucks, ATVs/UTVs/Side-by-Sides, motorcycles, dirt bikes, etc., and find areas to go off-roading/four-wheeling, target practice, and just explore. There is a nearby lake called Pyramid Lake where you can go fishing, camping, boating, etc. In the winter months, skiers and snowboarders can travel within 45 to 1 hr from the property to nearby Lake Tahoe or Donner Lake where there are many ski resorts. Also, for those who journey to the epic Burning Man Festival, our town which is on Interstate I-80 freeway is the last reliable gasoline for the 180-mile round trip to Black Rock City (there may be much smaller gas stations along the way but you stand the chance that they may not have available gas).
The nearby cities of Reno, Sparks, and Carson are within 30-45 minutes from the property and Lake Tahoe is about an hour drive. There are many events throughout the year such as festivals, golf tournaments, car shows, BBQ cookouts, hot air ballooning, Hot August nights, holiday events and many others to enjoy.
Plan accordingly during winter months where there could be extreme weather.

The property is located in a development more on a hillside with acreage and next to government land that will never be built on. There is plenty of parking in the driveway and on property. Getting around town on side-by-side vehicles or ATVs/UTVs is allowed. There are nearby casinos and restaurants in the downtown area which is close by.
