Historically one of the most beautiful spots on the tropical barrier island. This Private Gulf Front home has amazing beach views. Old Timers call this part of the island "The Narrows" where the sand is just wide enough for a single row of homes. Step down from the back deck and stroll the sugar white sand beach. Two decks overlooking the beach. You can watch the sunset into the Gulf of Mexico. Come and Enjoy our little slice of paradise. We hope to see you soon Private beachfront home on the beach. Couldn't have a better location! Wonderful spot to stay, the view and walking distance to the water was fantastic. The home is older, but all doors locked, and everything worked great for us. We felt secure, loved the privacy on the porch and fire pit area and how close we were to everything. Would definitely stay again.
You can't beat the location of this house. It's literally right on the beach in a quiet area. The beach is beautiful and it's not busy so it feels very private. If you want a great beach experience this is the place for you. If you're obsessed with a pristine, fancy houses then you might want to look elsewhere. Yes, this house is quirky and kind of ugly in some places but I don't go to the beach to stay in a beautiful house. The beds are comfortable, the AC works, and it's right on the beach as well as being very close to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely go back and stay here again.
The location is superb overlooking the ocean, but the house is in need of serious repairs. 2 out of 3 sliding doors dont have locks at all, so anyone can walk in from the outside. Old bathrooms with stains. The worst of all are the sheets, and stinky smelly comforters and pillows. For the cost of the house buy new sheets, comforters and pillows for Pete’s sake. Generally the location of rooms, furniture pieces, drawers that are blocked off by the refrigerator or doorways don’t make any sense. But nothing will rescue this house. It needs to be knocked down, and new house should be built. I cannot believe that anyone would rent a house in such a terrible condition
A total beach house. Yes its well worn. BUT, the location cant be beat. Lots of room. Cold AC. Clean fridge. Such easy access to the best beach. So private. We were there during Spring Break for the locals, and had NO one around us.... really amazing. Our family from Tampa was blown away by the location. We will be back!
Beautiful view and easy walk to beach with backyard access! Location within Indian Shores was perfect! Lots of walkable activities. The property needed a little TLC, but maybe in the process of updating?

Here is just a quick overview of my career along with a few of Carter Vacation strengths in the rental industry. I have been involved in the hospitality field most of my life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 I got my start working as a night auditor in a small hotel in Boston. I was instantly fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. I enjoyed finding new ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so, I was promoted often. I learned all aspects of each department and through the years I became the General Manager of some well-known hotels and upscale boutique inns. During my corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa Florida, I had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply put…I was hooked. This became my new passion and career. My wife and I had stayed in vacation rentals in the past with mixed feelings about our stays, I knew there was room for improvement in the Vacation Rental business and I was excited to get started. My team and I have worked hard over the years and I feel our success at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals is from having a variety of vacation property options that suits each guests needs and budget. We also have chosen to keep Carter Vacation Rental business relatively small in order to maintain a personable connection with each of our new arrivals. I, along with my team understand the importance of anticipating the guest's needs as well as treating each guest with complete respect during their vacation getaway.
