A wonderful location. Peace and tranquillity with local attractions on the doorstep. The Barn was as good as it looks on the internet, clean, uncluttered, extremely well maintained and well equipped. Comfortable beds and lounge furniture help make The Barn a perfect base to explore Northern Ireland. Dee and Johnny were the perfect hosts and were on hand to answer any questions or guide us to the best places to visit and to eat. The welcome hamper, including Johnny’s home made brownies, was a lovely touch and ensured we had essentials to get our holiday underway. Will hopefully return in the future. Many thanks Dee and Johnny for your hospitality.
Our stay with Johnny and Dee was crowded with the must do’s of the gorgeous Antrim Coast and Glens and the close proximity to Belfast but I believe the Barn is a destination in itself. Great location, fabulously appointed spacious, accommodation in wonderful gardens coupled with the most hospitable of hosts guarantees you’ll wish to return. Mattie’s Meeting Place affords a chance to mingle with charming locals and ‘blow in’s’ like us for a good craic!! Wish we lived closer😟
Johnny and Dee are such wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend the barn as a place to stay. The scenery is beautiful and is is so quiet. Such a lovely place to escape to.

We stayed in the fabulous barn conversion, which has panoramic views down to the coast. It's beautifully appointed, very comfortable and had everything needed for a short, or a longer stay. Hosts Johnny and Dee were most welcoming. Highly recommended.

My wife Deirdre and I are both retired teachers of art and design. Ten years ago we built our new home on this stunning site with panoramic views of the Irish sea, Scottish coastline and the Antrim hills. We love spending time creating gardens around our home to enhance the general environment and equally important, to encourage and support wildlife. We also provide B & B in our own home and greatly enjoy meeting new people from all over the world.
