Sadly, I advised I was an amputee, but was not advised that light switches were out of my reach throughout house Also, bedside lamp did not work and Shower overflowed Rag mats kept getting caught in wheelchair wheels. Not suitable for disabled. View was magnificent and my time there was very peaceful. More suitable for those who are not disabled.
Family with teenage children we all absolutely loved staying here, prefect location for fishing and the private jetty to leave the boat in!! Massive mud crabs caught from the jetty and fish as well and just a little down the creek a variety of fish caught that would normally require deep sea charter, hubby was in love best fishing he has ever experienced. I was concerned about no internet at first with the kids, but this ended up being a great, my kids off their devices and outside in nature, fishing, skating and going for walks and exploring. The perfect location for 4x4 tracks and beaches and great location for visiting Fraser Island out of the more busy tourist town rainbow beach. Tin Can Bay is a beautiful little town with lovely locals and a great family friendly local pub It was nice to visit a small coastal town that is still somewhat untouched which is hard to find, we are already looking at when we can come back for another holiday, we can’t wait to return.
No public transport available in Tin Can Bay. Best transport is a car or on foot for closer locations.
