Stylish, recently renovated four story Georgian home situated high up in Kingsdown on the borders of Cotham, offering all the convenience of the city, with all central areas close at hand. Perfect for families and friends, you'll have all you need to enjoy the truly unique and vibrant city of Bristol. The house is set over four floors, with one large- and one small- room on each. The cosy basement kitchen (tall people - watch your head on the beam as you go down the stairs!) looks out onto the private rear garden*. With it's underfloor heating and Everhot cooker (no microwave!), it's the real heart of the home! We've furnished it to comfortably serve eight around the dining table, making dinners in a real joy, but the morning sunlight streaming in makes this room a hit at any time of the day. We have a local shop three minute walk away at Monika's on Cotham Hill where you can stock up on the milk you like, butter eggs etc. At entry level there's a more formal feeling living room (inc. a sofabed that sleeps one comfortably) with TV, piano and wood-burner. A spacious bedroom and bathroom take up each of the first and second floors. All three of these floors have direct morning and afternoon light. Please note, not all of the stairs have handrails and the top one is quite tight (pictured). We also do not have any stair-gates so please be aware of this! With prior confirmation, we don't mind well behaved pets and kids - feel free to use either one or both of our cots - there's one set up in the pink bedroom and a spare travel cot too (both fit for infants up to 2 years). Parking restrictions are in place Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm but we can organise permits for a fee. Please enquire when booking. * Feel free to use our patio seating and firepit outside - it's a wonderful, sheltered and private spot - but we have to apologise for the (lack of) garden view and lawn access... as the rest of the garden is currently covered in tarp to tackle to bindweed!
