We loved the setting with farm animals and the beautiful surroundings. The space was nicely furnished with everything we needed. Jason was very hospitable and helpful.

The Magic Forest's Artist Retreat is a very comfortable setting that makes it very easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful hilltop views. Open living space that flows nicely into a year-round porch with gas fireplace. Enjoy! Marty S

Upon arrival, the place looked cute. However the door was open and unlocked when we arrived and we were provided with a lockbox code, never had to use it. There was no lid on the fish tank. There were flies and aunts. There was mold growing on the mattress, and the presence of mold was evident because we could not breathe in there. We arrived late and read through his house instructions, one of them said “do not contact us after 8:30pm unless there is an emergency. We go to bed early,” so while we were discovering the things we discovered, like mold and bugs and dirt, we couldn’t contact him per his rules. We had to leave and get a hotel. He was very rude once I had to contact him, apologizing that his place wasn’t good enough for us in a sarcastic way, pointing out his good reviews and how he just spent 18 months renovating it. Internet reviews showed more information that id highly recommend anyone considering this host/property to CHECK OUT BEFORE YOU BOOK. Overall disgusted.

Again, Jason was super accommodating! He was very responsive when I contacted him with any questions and very professional. The location is so peaceful and exactly what I needed for my mental health get away.
