A small family-run hotel in the mountains just 20 minutes from Dominical Beach and the town of San Isidro. Overlooking the ocean and mountains, you'll rest by the pool, explore the incredible Nauyaca Waterfalls (just a 10 minutes drive toward the beach), and feel like a local here in Tinamastes. The hotel has 8 rooms, 2 apartments, and 2 casitas welcoming both tourists and locals for short and long term stays. Each room has a mini-fridge and private bathroom. A newly remodeled hotel room with queen bed perfect for a couple or a single traveler on a budget. There is a mini fridge, microwave and a little table with chairs. Your private bathroom has hot water and there is a TV. Enjoy the amazing views from your private balcony as you rest and relax.

Great spot as we were looking at other places to move too! Great point to go to beach and Perez Zeledon. Pool was inviting and room cozy slept like a king! Great care takers will be back!!

Drive for 20-25 minutes away from the beach on Ruta 243 Dominical - San Isidro Perez Zeledon. Located just past the small town of Plantanillo. Many local restaurants and fruit stands to be found in Plantanillo.
It is best to have a car and we have lots of parking and no need for a 4x4. There is also a local bus stop within 50 m of our entrance. Traffic can be busy on this highway.
Car is recommended but there is a bus that isn't always reliable that comes by taking you to Dominical or San Isidro.
We are about 20 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes into San Isidro which is a bigger city with all the things you may need.
Tinamastes farmers market is less than 10 minutes away and runs every Tuesday morning. It's great place to get produce, ready to eat meals, and crafts made by locals. This is the place expats go to hang out.
Nauyaca waterfalls is a short 10 minute drive and is one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the area. The hike can be challenging but there is options for horse back ride or a ride.
