Awesome place, great views, peace and adventure!!! Great advice from host! Highly recommended
Showed up at the Airbnb and was supposed to find an open gate with the keys in a location specified by the host. But upon arrival the gate was locked and no way of getting in. I messaged and called the host and got no response. Had to use the help center through Airbnb, they attempted to contact the host and were unable, and then I was able to get a refund and book a new place.
The house is pretty, recently updated and well located near Nauyaca Waterfalls. The outdoor deck and areas are beautiful and very comfortable. However, the inside common areas are furnished only for 2 people. The kitchen is too large so there is not a living area really, just a 2-seat couch, and NO dining area at all inside OR outside. There are 2 comfortable counter-height chairs at the kitchen island, where they can fit and need at least 2 more chairs. Why have such a large kitchen with no place for 4 people to eat??? It is really very nice for 2 people but just too cramped for 4 people. I suggest you add 2 more.counter-height chairs in the kitchen plus get rid of the rocking chairs outside and put a table and chairs for 4 people on the deck. Also, do NOT have the gardners come at 4pm! They were very noisy. We decided to leave for dinner early
We loved staying at Vamosa's place. It was beautiful, clean and cozy. Vamosa was quick to reply whenever we had a question and very friendly. The house had lots of fans and AC and the temperature inside and out were perfect! It even cooled down at night here in the mountains. We were so grateful to stay here and will definitely be back to her home! There are a couple stores within 5 minutes of walking from this house which makes it super convenient! We walked to the local grocery store as well as a neat herbal store with tinctures and juices and such! When you turn down the steep hill to her home, her house is the very first one! Enjoy your stay :)
