We were so all so in love with Casa Cecelia!!! Of course Costa Rica is a beautiful place just about anywhere you go… but Casa Cecelia was the perfect frame to enhance/ highlight her breathtaking masterpiece!!! We arrived much later than we’d planned, so it was already dark… but thanks to Massi’s excellent & detailed instructions, maps and photos…we had no problem finding it, or gaining entry! Bravo!!! Upon entering, the only thing that rivaled the initial, breathtaking view of the home, was the delightfully fresh and clean scent that pervaded the home upon entry! After settling in, despite it being nearly 10 pm, we just HAD to take a dip in the unbelievably refreshing, gorgeous & massive pool overlooking the jungle and ocean! Despite it being dark, you could still see and hear the ocean below… awhile drinking in the sounds of the birds and wildlife all around! You could even see some of the celestial sparkles through the tree-tops! The daytime views from the home left me w/o words

Casa Cecilia is a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. It has restaurants and a spa close by and it has the best view of any house I've ever stayed in Costa Rica. It's boojie but seems a little bottom dollar. The oven in the kitchen is difficult to use and the oven door is loose and doesn't close correctly by itself. Also, the driveway is alot smaller than the pictures look and the owners store a very large truck on the property which takes up about 1/3 of the already very limited space. The rooms are comfortable and have very great AC but everyday they need to be swept because there are clawed critters living all throughout the ceiling and they scratch the black lining so it falls through the bamboo and onto every surface below. On top and of the scraps, there is almost always gecko feces scattered around all of the rooms and that type of feces carries a strain of salmonella, so that's kind of a gross factor.

Casa Cecilia is an excellent place to stay for friends or family. Beautiful house in a beautiful tropical forest setting. House was well appointed with all the needed amenities. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathrooms were very nice. This is a great house for the price! Thanks Massi!!

Exceeded expectations. Private and serene. We walked in and immediately felt like we were living like rock stars. Great little cafe up the hill for morning coffee. Loved the open air concept and walk out to the pool.

The place is in a nice central location if you want to be able to visit both Dominical and Uvita. The drive up the hill to the home is a lot of fun. Had no problems in a Hyundai Tucson. I had clear directions to enter. The place is very secure. Gate and alarm on the home and parking behind the gate. Felt very safe. The infinity pool and view from the house are amazing. I would stay again.
