Thoroughly read reviews before booking, there is a pattern. The location and room description were different from the listing. My room was dirty—sticky floor; door, table and chair with grimy black fingerprints; badly scratched up walls and floorboard, red stains on the blanket... The room was listed as non-smoking, but it had a heavy smell of weed (not a fan of hotboxing). A few cars with broken windows lined the street, a man fell asleep on a porch. It didn't fit the description that it was the safest neighbourhood in Oakland. The stove was left on full blast in the dark inside the house, with nothing cooking. The other occupants and people hanging out at the porch seemed nice and polite. At least 4 people had access to this 2-bedroom place and were coming in and out at midnight. Something didn't sit well, I worried about my car, felt so uncomfortable that I left. Had to sleep in the car because Airbnb did not respond with help for 2 hours, it was already midnight.

The affordable price and overall convenience gives little room for complaints... Would of been nice if the room was cleaner, whoever was in charge of cleaning could of had done a better job, but considering the price and overall convenience we we're more than happy. Overall my girlfriend and I had a positive experience and Kenny was very attentive and responded quickly to my messages. I would %100 stay here again.
