We had a wonderful weekend with the kids and some old friends at this cottage. The area itself was stunning, with a very handy playground just over the road for the little ones to burn off some energy in. I loved the look of the house, the cosy feel, the bedrooms are all a good size and the front garden was great for toddlers to explore in without too many hazards. :) The kitchen didn’t have much food prep space & we found the oven took a long time to heat - but otherwise was well equipped with lots of utensils and the added bonus of a bottle of fizz on arrival with some snacks which was a lovely touch. The only suggestion would be to offer a temporary stair gate for the top/bottom of the stairs as they were very steep and you had to be very watchful not to let the toddlers near the stairs without being held. The village pub with Chinese takeaway inside it was 👍🏻. A village shop would however have been the icing on the cake! A lovely house! Would definitely come again. X

Our stay at Westwood House was very enjoyable; we did struggle initially to find the house but once there all the instructions were perfect. All the rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms nicely appointed. The kitchen was great with everything we needed. Apologies that we accidentally broke 2 glasses :( Hopefully we left the house as requested (we did leave the last set of breakfast dishes in the dishwasher as we left before it finished it's cycle) It was a shame the pub which was very close didn't serve meals but we managed by driving into Southam. Would love to see the wisteria in full bloom it must be spectacular! Thank you Clare From Julie, Chris, the children and grandchildren

Fantastic house for our group, big spaces and plenty of room. All of the rooms were suitable! Really pretty village, quiet so you need to drive if you want to pop to the shop. Local pub was good though.

A privilege to stay in such a beautiful home. We felt right at home with the welcoming touches. A really cosy and comfortable stay.

House was warm and clean when we arrived, and Clare had sent me clear instructions and helpful information about the house and local area. She had also set up the two fires and left us some food and drink to kick the weekend off with! Between the nine of us friends it was easy to keep the houe in good condition and there wasn't too much asked of guests at all. Had a great time and would definitely come back!
