Across the street are beautiful Sakura and Riverside Parks with access to endless walking, biking and picnicking. Restaurants, grocery stores, cocktail bars, coffee and wine shops all within a 2 block radius. Spend the days or weekends enjoying the city but return to a truly comfortable and serene place to rest, recharge or even work during the day. Warm, bright lighting with dimmers allows versatility for tasks or relaxing. Make your dinner, grab a bottle of wine around the corner and eat outside!Folding park chairs and picnic blanket available for walking across the street to Sakura Park for a picnic - one our family's most favorite things to do in the summer! There are often jazz bands playing concerts in the park in the evenings. KITCHEN Everything you might need to prepare meals or drinks: A refrigerator with filtered water and ice, gas stove with double oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and toaster oven, instant pot, dutch oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, teapots and more. There is ample space and an island to sit and enjoy conversation or share tasks while cooking. The large dining table comfortably sits 8. BEDROOM 1: Two bunk beds (4 single beds), window shade and a/c unit. There are children's books, toys, nightlight, and a dresser for use. Reading lights in each bed area. (Please note: renting with young children is at your own risk.) BEDROOM 2: Queen bed with new mattress, both light filtering and blackout shades, window a/c, and desk. Dresser and small closet for hanging clothes. BEDROOM 3: Murphy Bed in living room with new mattress, double doors with lock, window a/c, wardrobe, and privacy shades. LIVING ROOM: Comfortable chairs and sofa, projector and pull-down screen with Bluetooth Sonos for excellent streaming or movie-watching. Many board games, card games and books available. Cushioned folding floor chairs for extra seating. READING NOOK: Two chairs with down cushions, plush rug, and reading lamp provides a wonderful spot to read or talk with people in the kitchen. BATHROOM: Updated vanity, double shower head, bathtub, unlimited hot water. The apartment is on the top floor of the building. This is our first time renting this apartment but please feel free to look at our reviews from previous years as hosts.
