Torgiano · 农家乐 · 3室3床3.0卫 · 可住6人 · Amazing apartment in a farmhouse with view
The farmhouse sits on a grand estate of over 400 acres and overlooks the Umbrian Valley. It is surrounded by a well cared for garden which extends to fields of old olive trees. It is not unusual at sunset to see wild colorful pheasants roaming around the house. Built at the turn of the 20th century, the Caprareccia is a sandstone traditional country house where you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the Umbrian valley. The farmhouse is divided in two spacious separate apartments, the Blue and the Green apartment. Nestled among gardens and olive trees, both apartments have their own gazebo for outdoor dining and barbecues where you may catch a glimpse of colorful pheasants roaming through the garden as the sun begins to set. A few steps from Caprareccia, there is a swimming pool measuring 38x16 ft. (4 ft. deep). Each apartment enjoys its side of the garden equipped with lounges, a gazebo with dining table for eight and its own barbecue.
The house is situated at the end of a dirt road in a huge olive tree area. The view is great and the house is really a place to find a bit peace and quiet. But Vittoria, the host, was really exceptional. We had a flat tyre and she helped us out multiple times. I have stayed in dozens of airbnb's and she was by far the most welcoming and altogether great host.
This home was beautiful, on top of a hill with the view of olive trees, distant towns and a castle, it was a truly dream. The house is very well kept, we had all the ammenities necessary, the kitchen had all the utensils and things necessary, spacious, Air conditioning in every bathroom. A beautiful pool and yard. Vittoria was a great host, we had a fantastic time and we highly recommend her house and we will definitely would like to come back again in the future.
Nous avons bons passé un séjour idéal en Ombrie dans ce superbe agritourismo. Un endroit propre et confortable, idéal pour notre petite famille pour visiter les villages voisins (coup de cœur pour Assise) et profiter du grand jardin et de la piscine.
On the top of a hilly spur, facing Torgiano and dominating the Chiascio valley at the confluence with the Tiber, the villa of "La Montagnola" stands out isolated, cloaked in the dark green of the forest and silvery olive trees. It is among the most notable and unique in the Perugia area due to its layout around the central courtyard. The Villa stands on the ruins of a 12th century castle destroyed by the Torgianesi in 1298 and then built by the Baglioni between the late 1600s and early 1700s, as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the family.
Torgiano, about 3 km from the Montagnola farmhouse, originates from a medieval castle but of the latter only a few ruined walls and a tower remain. Torgiano, renowned in Italy and throughout the world for its DOC and DOCG wines, sees its history linked to ancient Rome and according to a legend it is linked to the name of the god Janus. In the 17th century, the Baglioni family erected a palace there, today the Wine Museum.
Spread over the hill, the farmhouse is instead made up of 3 farmhouses and two swimming pools and accommodates up to 30 people.
