We rented this place for a family gathering for the 2024 eclipse. The home was a little dated but was well taken care of and spotlessly clean. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. There was plenty to do for the kids and the hikers in our family. We had a bonfire in the firepit. We could have stayed several more days to spend on the trails in Shawnee National Forest or just relax. We also made a trip to Paducah to the National Quilt Museum and it was definitely worth the trip. We had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The view from every window was beautiful. Lovely area. The only thing that might have made our stay better was another television or two. A TV in the upstairs family room would have been nice to watch the March madness games. Also a TV in one or two of the bedrooms would have been nice. Overall, I would give it a great rating and we would definitely stay here if we are back in the area.

The place great for our weekend stay. The house had all modern appliances, was very clean and was well-stocked will all necessary supplies. The internet was also very fast.
