Kalum‘s place is just lovely. Directly by the lake. Very peaceful. The food at the restaurant is amazing! And there are Kajaks you can use for the lake and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the lake. We will be back!

We stayed here for 3 weeks and totally loved it. The views around the lake are stunning with an abundance of wildlife. Jerel and Artula looked after us very well and gave us great advice on trips and arranged a jeep safari at a very good rate. Moses the tuk-tuk driver who lives next door is very good and knowledgeable on all sorts of wildlife and we saw lot's of animals while out with him. We arranged to have our breakfast with them most mornings at their restaurant 'Sundown at the Lakeside' I had fresh fruit and it was a big plateful, and my husband went for traditional Sri Lankan, we would recommend the restaurant as all the food we had here was great . We really enjoyed the space around the house especially the verandah with the hammocks and lovely sitting area great place to sit and while away the hours watching the wildlife which was plentiful we saw lots of birds, monkey's, lizards etc. Overall the hospitality, location and high quality of everything in the house was fantastic we would recommend the Lake House highly and would certainly go back.

We had such a lovely stay here. Particularly loved the quiet and beautiful location of Kalum’s place right on the lake. The restaurant next door to the accommodation is the best food we had in habarana and just a really awesome vibe. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Kalum is an awesome host and went out of his way to help us organise transport for the various activities we had planned around Habarana/Sigiriya, we would happily come back and stay again. Thank you so much!
