Alpine or nordic ski during the winter months at the local mountain, Eldora Ski Resort, only 10 minutes away – snowshoe trails are also abound; hike, bike, backpack, fish, trail ride or run in the warmer months throughout the many trails of the Roosevelt National Forest and Indian Peaks Wilderness that surround the town and area.
