Beautiful location in a quiet and meticulously maintained site. There is lots of wildlife to enjoy right off the veranda, absolutely amazing place to unwind! The accommodation was spotless and well maintained, felt very cosy and calming. Be sure to save all entrance details before arriving as there is no phone signal to access the WiFi, thankfully we were rescued by the site manager! Even when connected the internet can be spotty so I wouldn’t rely on it if you plan on streaming, didn’t bother us too much as the tv never got turned on! The hosts (who were excellent) had stated they were intending on getting their own connection in the future. Overall a superb spot to explore, lots to see locally such as Castle Howard, Malton, York, Flamingo Land, Steam Railway and seaside towns further afield. We visit this area frequently as my family are from Scarborough and we loved this as a base so it’s on our list to visit again!
We had such a lovely stay. Communication was great from the start. The caravan was immaculate and well maintained. I’ve already recommended to my family! Thank you so much.
Beautiful drive. Cozy 2 bedroom accommodation. Great surrounding water body with friendly ducks. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely living space and big outdoor dining facilities. Would definitely recommend and go back to stay here. It is near castle Howard, 30 minutes away from York city centre.
