Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place in one of the busiest streets in Oslo. it's equipped for maximum fun and leisure get away. The room is a small room with a 90 x 200 bed suitable for one person but can pass for two small bodied persons. It is in old building block but renovated interior. The furnitures and electronics/games and TV channels are built for maximum indoor leisure. The bed is modern with shelves for clothings, linens and minor belongings. There is an Apple desktop in the room should one decide to surf around without being in the sitting room. The kitchen is upto date with extra gadgets and the bathroom have hair dryer, coiler among other things that people desire but don't often take along. For weekend people who are just visiting Oslo for parties, ... you can party here as long as the earlier guest is Ok with it. There is also a space for smoking and a huge garden downstairs. It is also close to many happening night places and do have a weekend night bus so you can save more on transportation.

John is a great host, positive, friendly and always willing to help. I was also invited to a bbq party he arranged, without expecting any input from my side. But I can't promise that he'll arrange something similar when you're going to stay 🤣 The room was exactly as described, it was clean, with fresh bed linens and towels. Location of the apartment is also comfortable and close to the city's centre. It was my first Airbnb stay, and I remained very satisfied.
John Junior is a fantastic host, with whom one can have great conversations in his old, yet lovely and impeccable flat in Grünerløkka, some 50 meters from Birkelunden tram stop. The area is packed with restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops of all kinds, and supermarkets, as well as, excellent public transport to Oslo S, to the airport, Karl Johan, Nationaltheatret, Aker Brygge, etc. Highly recommendable!
Great flat for a good price in an amazing location. John is a great host and let me check in early. He's clearly passionate about giving people the best experience possible. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, clean room in a great area of Oslo.

The location of the room is very good because it’s near a tram station, I can go anywhere from that station. Many restaurants are very close to the room. The room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. John is a good person, he is very passionate. He told me where to go when I lost my way. I had a very deep conversation with John, he is very wise.

Birkelund I believe is the centre of Grunerløkka and it does have most things one will need between civilisation and stark nature.
Within 2 minutes of the apartment; you can reach a beautifully built old church, a medium sized park with waterfalls and effigies. Trams, buses, supermarket, boutiques, grocery stores, Apotek, lake, football and basketball fields; restaurants and clubs etc.
It is a place to be to see the rest
Taxi usually takes 2 minutes to arrive if there is not one passing or hanging already.
The bus and Trams run till 1.30 AM in the night and the night buses all night on the weekends.
The rental bikes, cars and scooters are easy to find everywhere around the corner or with an App. It is about 12 minutes walk to the city centre and about 5 tram stops. So getting around goes with a lot of choices.
You can always download the ruter transport app to input where you want to go.
