The Oberoi house is beautiful and the hosts were very helpful in many ways. We were close to Old Man of Storr and the Fairy Pools and enjoyed seeing those. Easy walk to town.

We had a great stay at Oberoi House! It's a beautiful home with lots of space for our family group of 6. It was clean and well-equipped, and communication with management was easy and helpful. We were out most of the day from morning till night, so we didn't get to take full advantage of things like the full kitchen and fireplace, but if we had more time, we certainly would have enjoyed them. The location is wonderful - lovely views looking out over the water and an easy walk to the center of Portree which we also wish we had more time to explore. I think this was a one-of-a-kind alternative to the hotels in Portree and we found it to be a great experience.

Our stay at the Oberoi House was very comfortable. The house smelled nice, there was quiet music from Alexa echo dots in the entire house (easy to operate), and soon we felt like at home (or like at my grandma's old wooden house - there are nice wooden floors and staircases there). The kitchen was well equipped, it was easy to do laundry, all rooms were nice and comfy and most had a nice view of the Portree bay. We were looking forward to lighting up the fireplace but unfortunately didn't have the time during our 3-night stay; there was too much to do on Skye. Driving into and out of the driveway with a bigger car was a bit challenging, but we managed just fine. It was a very enjoyable calm stay.
