We had such a wonderful stay! The house and gardens are simply magical. Leaving London and arriving here was idyllic. We were blessed with good weather and it was so good to enjoy the famous swing, gorgeous terrace and beach at the bottom of the garden. To be honest, it was so lovely, we didn’t feel the need to be out all the time as the children loved it so much. Mark and Wendy are extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for having us as guests in your home - we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The house it great. It has large grounds & was just as described. Any problems we had were sorted out quickly. We felt very welcome with supplies provided for us & thorough instructions about what was for our use. It was lovely to be able to sit outside & enjoy the view. Mark is a great & very responsive host. The house is very comfortable & well equipped.

Our two families had a wonderful long weekend at Mark and Wendy’s house. The setting is really lovely, with a beautiful large garden and a stunning view out to sea from the deck. The kids loved the swing and treehouse! The house itself is spacious and very well equipped. We had lots of space in the kitchen and spent some lazy hours in the comfortable sitting room. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to eat in the outside pavilion (a reason to go back!). Ryde with all its shops was a 5 minute car drive.

We have just returned from a blissful, nostalgic visit to the Isle of Wight. The Sea House was everything we could have wished for in terms of amenities and location - very well suited to all three generations of our family. Mark and Wendy were good at communicating and responded quickly to any questions we had. During our stay we ate out at The Smoking Lobster in Ventnor (a picturesque drive across the island) and The Dell in Seaview (a lovely walk along the beach from the house) - both of which we would thoroughly recommend. For all other meals we enjoyed barbecuing on the fire pit in the garden and making good use of the extremely well-equipped kitchen. Needless to say all members of the family (young and old!) enjoyed the tree swing, the extensive garden, and the views from the wooden deck. We appreciated the extensive games available for guests to use, and the welcoming food and drink on arrival. We hope to return one day!
