Looking for the perfect weekend getaway with friends? Look no further! Escape to our beautiful 3bd/3ba log home nestled on 10 forested acres. Enjoy sipping wine or morning coffee by the fire. Enjoy your favorite tunes on the Sonos sound system. When it’s time to unwind, gather around the crackling fire or cozy up for a movie night and stream your favorite shows from the 75” TV and sound bar. It’s the perfect setting for a weekend filled with laughter, games and making unforgettable memories! The log home has 2 spacious master bedrooms with king beds and both with en suite. The warmth of the log home is inviting with a two-story grand room with wood fireplace . The main source of heat is from the wonderful wood stove. Sitting by the warm, crackling fire warms your soul, but you need to be willing to build and maintain a fire to stay toasty warm. And it gets very toasty! The main floor tv room has a 75” tv with sound bar for a fun, cozy, movie-watching experience. We have a variety of games for rainy days or just hanging out. The dining room table seats 10. Gather, eat, play games and hangout with friends and family. Kitchen is equipped with a wall oven and an additional slide-in double oven with wonderful pine slab breakfast bar and 3 bar stools. Hot tub coming April 1, 2024 (No joke! 😆) Playground for kids also coming later in April

I stumbled across this place looking for an option for our extended family to jointly stay at for a wedding in Deer Park. This was absolutely perfect! My parents, my husband and I and our two kids (4 & 1.5 yrs old), and my sister with her husband and their two kids (11 & 7 yrs old). The cabin looks charming in photos and is even more charming in person! The wood burning fire inside is so quaint, kitchen is fully complete with every pot, pan, plate, bowl, cup or other kitchen appliance you could ever need! The bedrooms were so clean and nicely decorated, each with their own bathroom. Appreciated the communication and info from the hosts!
Lori was a great host! We came into a very welcoming and relaxing cabin great for what we came to experience. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. There were plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and wood. There were several small informative notes. We did find pet hair in places - I think I knew it was pet friendly but would’ve liked it to be more known when booking. We also were not notified that one shower wasn’t working. The jacuzzi tub was also out of service and the bed was very loose. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our big group.

This is truly a country living experience. You’ll travel 3/4 mile off the paved road to the entrance of the property. You will pass farmland, horses, and cattle as you drive to our home. It’s like stepping back in time and having a chance to enjoy the simple things in life.
The property is located 3/4 mile west of Swenson Road. There is ample parking available at the front of the property and next to the log home. We ask guests to park in designated parking areas.
