The property is nice and the attached restaurant is pretty good. The location is awesome and right on the beach near the primary surf spot in Tamarindo. There is music from the place next door that is a little loud but even more so is the road noise because it’s right along the main thoroughfare. Also i think it was only a temporary issue but there was almost no water pressure the night we stayed. Staff were great and the place was clean AC worked great would stay again.

Stayed here before with no issues. I live in Costa Rica and everyone blames it on the city shutting off water.... BS. Management blamed it on city, or course. This time had zero water pressure from check in, no water in toilet either. Had to fill toilet up with cup of the sink. Might want to fix these pressure issues before it becomes a bigger issue. It's a cute hotel on the beach but please fix this issue and I might consider returning. Check with hotel prior to booking to save your lf some headaches. Pura Vida

en nuestra llegada al ingresar un señor nos miró muy feo y nos preguntó si éramos huésped. luego llego otra chica ya amable pero a pesar q llegamos una hora antes tuvimos q esperar hasta las 2 o un poco más para chekin no son flexible con la hora de entrada y solo nos pusieron paño para dos personas y éramos 4, tuve q ir a pedir las demás, en si la habitación está muy bonita y limpia y muy agradable también buen desayuno, lo necesario, pero mucho ruido por las noches, no se logra descansar bien.

Casa Aura was a beautiful place to stay! The two bedroom apartment is a great option, right on the beach and close to down town stores and restaurants. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again!
