The "Villa" was like we thought and corresponded the briefing - not a luxury but a funcional "casa de campo" having a nice garden with the pool and beautiful scenery to the mountains. And Esperanza, she was a really pleasent hostess ready to advise and help us. The people of the village Tenteniguada were very friendly towards us - poor spanish speaking foreigners.

We really enjoyed out stay at Esperanza's place and hope to go back next year. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist traps, which is exactly what we wanted, since we specifically went for a landscape photography trip. The bed was comfortable and there is everything you need for your stay. It does get cold in the evening (We went in December) so you may need to stock up with wood for the open fire in the lounge. The place has a couple of independent heaters but some rooms will be cold at night. We also didn't use the pool, though I'm sure we would in the summertime , but the water is just too cold in December. For me this was an ideal location and we hope to return again in the not too distant future. Esperanza is a great host and very attentive to any help or advice that you might need.

We had a lovely few days here before moving to the south of the island. The villa is rustic and gives a real taste of traditional Spanish/Canarian life. Amazing views with a wonderful orchard with lemons, oranges, avocados , apples. it is perfect to get away from the hub- bub of tourists or busy places- very peaceful. We did struggle to find the villa as it’s on a narrow and steep lane . so we recommend arriving in the day if you can to make this easier. A lovely white female cat with kittens in tow made friends with us. Good communications while being left alone. Recommend.

Maison agréable dans un superbe environnement à l’écart des zones touristiques. Idéal pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et la nature. Piscine vraiment top, permet de se rafraîchir quand il fait chaud. Hôte très réactive.

C'est une belle maison de campagne située au centre de l'ile, entourée d'un magnifique verger, équipée d'une piscine très agréable les jours de canicules. La vue sur les montagnes est superbe où vous pourrez observer des rapaces planés au dessus de la maison. De bons moments familiaux autour du BBQ en compagnie de petits chatons vivants dans le terrain vague juste à côté. Les routes sont sinueuses et les départs de randonnées non loin. Patri à été une hôte aux petits soins. les équipements qui nous manquaient nous ont été gentillement apportés. C'est une maison qui a beaucoup de potentiel. un petit aménagement supplémentaire sur la terrasse de toit (salon de jardin et parasol), un peu de decoration et des volets en ferait une maison d'exception. La maison reste difficile à quitter pour visiter l'ile tellement la piscine est agréable :) Nous recommandons chaudement.
