This is very nice camp on the lake. I would caution folks that’s it is uninsulated. We were there the last week of September and the weather was normal for that time of year. The camp did not get very warm. If you are staying in the fall, dress accordingly.

This house is beautiful. The lake is gorgeous and so close to everything. We enjoyed a very quiet stay here and loved it.

My wife, golden doodle, and I booked a 3 night stay in late September, knowing that the weather might be a little chilly. The day we arrived the weather was nice, but soon took a turn for cold/rain. The first morning waking up in the cottage, it had poured overnight, and we noticed a leak which barely missed our books/iPads on a table. We texted the property manager who apologized but already knew about the leak. During the day, the temperature dropped significantly, and overnight the second night we froze, despite the electric stove that was in the living room. We looked around the house but did not find additional space heaters. We woke up in the morning with frozen noses, and 43 degree temps, and texted the property manager. We said that despite having another 24 hours on our reservation, we were going to leave a day early. A few days later he responded by apologizing about the cold. A day after that, we were refunded for the night that we didn't stay, which was unexpected and very nice. Outside of the weather; the place was nice, and I imagine that during nice weather it would have been great.

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

Our 2nd stay, we really like it here. Virtually no internet unless you leave your phone outside or take a little walk down the road, so plan ahead for that ie directions and communication. The main bedroom with the attached bath actually has the smallest and tallest bed in the place. If you're used to a big bed or have puppies that can't jump high pick the far one nearest the kitchen.
