super. beautiful setting. very near town walking but still quiet. Julia helped us get a driver who was kind and reasonably priced. large fridge. loved the hammock!

The cabin is in a beautiful garden with many species of birds coming and going. We loved waking up to the birds singing. This cabin is a solid build and quite comfortable. Previous guests mentioned a rustic cabin however it feels quite modern and new. There is also a new microwave and 2 additional comfortable seats in kitchen that are not shown on the airbnb site. I highly recommend Julia's airbnb.

We had a lovely five day visit to Mindo, and we greatly enjoyed staying at Julia‘s place. The house is rustic, but very well constructed. The beds were comfortable and we were able to cook a simple meal in the kitchen. The shower was nice and warm, powered by a gas heater, more reliable than the more common solar heaters. But the bathroom sink did not have hot water. The best part was sitting out on the patio and watching the birds and other wildlife come visit the beautiful garden. It’s a short walk into the little town but feels like a secluded paradise. Julia was great at communicating. Highly recommended!

We spent a week at Julia's lovely cottage in Mindo. The property is located within a private garden visited by many birds and hummingbirds. The two bedroom cottage was charming and clean. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, equipment and pans to allow us to easily cook meals. The property is at the edge of town minutes by foot from Mindo's local restaurants and many of Mindo's sightseeing offerings. Cabs are available within a few minute walk if you want to visit areas farther away. Julia was an excellent host and met us upon arrival and showed us specifics about the house. She was very responsive to any inquiries we had and arranged someone to pick up our laundry (the service was very fast and reasonably priced) as well as suggested several close birding spots and arranged a driver to get us there and back. Her assistance was greatly appreciated as our Spanish skills are limited. We loved staying at her location and will definitely book it again when in Mindo.
