Everything was great except the air conditioner took a long time to cool off the space. Steve's farm is very beautiful and it was a great stay. I probably would not stay there again but only because I am just a bit old to uses a ladder to get in and out of the bed. There are lots of restaurants and other stores to meet all your needs, yet stay at the farm for peace and quiet.

This stay was everything I hoped for and more. I was just looking to get out of BHM for a few days and decompress, never thought I’d stumble upon this gem! I honestly didn’t want to leave (they were kind enough to let me hang around a little past check out before I finally peeled myself away). One thing I didn’t realize as I didn’t look well enough at the pics is that the bed is loft style. This was a plus for me! Felt like going to camp again. There is a solid sturdy built in step ladder, and more than enough space above your head, but thought I’d mention. The Yee-haul was spotless, instructions were clear, the pictures of the inside are all accurate. The water was hot, and enough for two of us to shower without it getting cold. One special treat was they provided two starter samples of their homemade soaps which spelled divine and lathered up smoothly (bring some cash, you’ll want more. I really wanted to get their body butter but forgot, oh well, guess I have to go back). Book it!!
