My best friend and I had a very relaxing weekend!! We got to location later than expected. It was very dark in that area. I had taken an exterior light lamp, but it had a short cord. Meanwhile, we used our phone flashlights to get around and unload. That evening I messaged Michael & Natalie asking if they had an extension cord on site. They apologized that they didn't, but offered to drop one off the next day! By the time we stepped out for the day, the extension cord was on the steps! We were very grateful! The beach was very close, as was the walk to the bay. All in all we had a Great Relaxing Time! Thank you!

Waterfront view!!! Their recommendations were spot on! I couldn’t have asked for more, on my little 2 day getaway. I wanted salty air and privacy… got both! And the place was quaint, tastefully decorated, and peaceful! Thanks again for being a wonderful host!

My wife and I took our dog to the Gulf of Mexico for the first time over the weekend. We stayed in “Mermaids Journey” for 3 nights in the middle of October, 2023. A fair assessment of our stay in the RV/camper at Magnolia Beach is as follows: -RV/Camper BADLY needs an overall DEEP cleaning. -Very close to water with easy access to the Gulf of Mexico. -Several different breeds/sizes of dogs running freely throughout the area. -Water access is GREAT and the actual fishing is FANTASTIC. -People in the immediate area are very friendly. -Definitely away from the typical “hustle and bustle” of other beach areas, remote and fairly isolated. To be fair, this was our first true RV/camper experience. We typically stay in middle level hotels/motels. The cleanliness of the camper was an issue, as well as the intimidating dogs that were roaming freely outside the RV/camper. We did enjoy access to the Gulf, the fire pit and grill, the friendly folks, and the great fishing.
