The hideaway was perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway, and it was less than 10 minutes from the downtown area which had wonderful trails and restaurants. Will be staying again in the future!

My parents, fiancé and I stayed here for two nights. We hung by the lake and had coffee in the morning with breakfast. Watched the Super Bowl in the living room, hung in the sun room area where the view of the lake is INSANE and talked about old stories and memories. Had a bonfire outback and hung with our pups. We had such an amazing trip. We grabbed food from The cove and from coach’s pub-super cool and good food. We drove 35 minutes to Crystal river kayak rentals and swam with the manatees followed by food and drinks at waterfront social. Can’t wait to come back to this spot. This was a real vacation full of beautiful scenic views at the lake house, amazing wildlife constantly seen there, rustic lake house atmosphere. So peaceful. Beds were comfy, plenty of places to sit inside, two tvs with many apps for movies. For reviews I saw about water smell- welcome to Florida. You get that almost everywhere I live in Fort Lauderdale. Alyssa was easy to chat with and directions were simple.
