I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The property itself s situated on a beautiful slope with truly amazing views. There are fantastic restaurants in the vicinity. Being higher up the mountain in Furi means you miss the huge lifts queues which build up in Zermatt, and you’re on the mountain first! The photos don’t do the apartment justice, it was truly beautiful. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was kitted out with absolutely everything you could need. The huge balcony was a just lovely spot to relax with an evening glass of wine or a morning coffee! The place felt incredibly private. The sofa was supremely comfortable, and everything in there felt of a very high standard. Finally, the hosting was just exceptional. The hosts really went above and beyond to ensure we had the most wonderful stay. This is one of the most undervalued Airbnb’s I have stayed in, and recommend it highly. I look forward to returning!

We were very disappointed at our arrival to realize the keys were not placed at the right location as we arrived late at night. We were stuck outside in the snow until very late and the host was not responding. The place is well maintained and the view was great. However, you must plan on spending 80 CHF for every trip back and forth to Zermatt as there aren’t many dining options around.

Beautiful chalet with a balcony that’s in Furi - after reaching zermatt, you have to walk 20 mins to the cable car, take a cable car for 15 mins and then walk 5 mins uphill to reach. Pls keep this in mind -last cable car at 5:30 - place can be isolated in the dark and hard to find -it is kind of remote. The first day our flush wasn’t working and the host could only come the next day evening at earliest. Lots of laundry provided, clean bedding. Kitchen supplies were limited so pls keep this mind for cooking. (No mittens, no sauces, no kitchen roll)

Loved the apartment at Aroleid. The space was clean and modern, very comfortable, and ski in ski out! We enjoyed dinner one night at a hotel within 5 minutes walk, as well as the beautiful spa. We did the hit evening at Marmo for fondue another night - so despite the quiet and private location we didn’t have to cook every night. Thank you!
