Lovely apartment in a great location - the view is absolutely fantastic! Host’s instructions were clear and easy to follow, only negative is that there were a couple of areas that hadn’t been properly cleaned on arrival, but hopefully this was just a one-off.

On arrival the keys were not in the lockbox! We managed to contact Jo who discovered the cleaners were still cleaning the apartment. They brought the keys down to us and we were able to park up and get our luggage up to the apartment just as they finished. The apartment is lovely and just as described, with wonderful views. We slept with the patio door open at night so that we could hear the sea as we slept. It is centrally placed and only minutes walk to shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants. Can recommend A Slice of Life Cafe for breakfast, great Full English and Eggs Benedict and Atlantic Bay for fish and chips, you can even look from the balcony to see how big the queue at the chippy is. Secure underground parking is a bonus, especially when it is raining. We noticed there are EV charging points in the above ground car park. We had a really relaxing well needed break. It is a great base for exploring North Devon and we will stay here next time we return to Westward Ho!
