Space Overview Our rural home sits on over an acre of land, providing a serene sanctuary away from city life. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and optimal spots to immerse yourself in nature's beauty, Casa Venado comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families, groups, or a peaceful couple's retreat. Bedrooms The four bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements: Room 1: 1 King bed - Attached restroom (stand-up shower) - Walk-in closet - Balcony access - Smart TV (TV #1) Room 2: 1 King bed - Closet - Dresser - Smart TV (TV #2) Room 3: 1 Queen bed - Attached bathroom (tub shower) - Closet - Dresser Room 4: 1 Queen bed and 2 Twin beds - Closet - Dresser - 2 Couches Kitchen Enjoy the convenience of our fully equipped kitchen, complete with standard kitchen equipment and other special amenities such as Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, baking sheets, cooking ware, and 12 sets of plates, cups, and utensils. Living Space Our spacious living room comes furnished with 2 full-size couches and a smart TV (TV #3). The home is fitted with central air conditioning & heat for your comfort, ensuring an enjoyable stay regardless of the outdoor temperature! NOTE: Living room fireplace is strictly decorative and NOT to be used. Outdoor Common Areas Enjoy ample outdoor common areas, including a covered outdoor living room, two outdoor dining areas, a fire pit, and an offset smoker BBQ area. The deer trail viewing and star gazing deck wrap around the home, offering breathtaking views! NOTE: The home has a treehouse that is stickily decorative and NOT to be used. Front porch is equipped with security cameras providing a view of the home entrance and driveway. Pet-Friendly Casa Venado welcomes your furry friends!! We are dog-friendly, with plenty of areas for your pup to explore. Please inform us if you plan to bring a dog, and kindly pick up after your pets. NOTE: Dogs must be house trained and are NOT permitted on the furniture. Guests are are expected to clean up after their pets. Birds and cats are NOT permitted. Family trip to Yosemite for our moms bday, we were worried that it was going to be too small but this home had lots of space for all of us to move around & even have our own privacy. We loved our stay! Very peaceful, and beautiful home. The host was friendly & very accommodating!
We stayed here for a birthday trip and loved to location and the layout of the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the backyard was awesome to hang out in. The kitchen had everything we need for meals. We loved the unique design and tiling throughout the home, and that there was plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery outside, even in the rain. We did have an issue with the septic system but Emily was extremely responsive and did all she could to remedy it. There were some things in the home that didn't work and or didn't seem clean, but nothing we couldn't work around. Overall we really enjoyed the house and would stay there again.
I am so happy I found this place, just what we needed. Jennifer was super kind and kept communicating with me which I really appreciate. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and completely worth every penny. I love the kitchen, perfect for home cooked meals. Lots of areas to sit and have a good conversation. The back area of the house was so special to me. I just love this place, hope to come back soon.
Wonderful home in the woods to getaway from the day to day life’s. Felt welcomed, private and the locals are very friendly .
Although the property was nice and peaceful it did need some maintenance to be done. When we got on the property, the door lock did not work due to a battery needing to be changed. We started the dishwasher our first night when we woke up to water all over the kitchen. Although the property was great for my family and our dogs, Jennifer was not very responsive. I messaged her when we got to the property due to not being able to get in and she did not get back to me until many hours later, asking how was check in but was not able to fix our problem. We were only able to get in because the back door happened to be unlocked. The home was in good condition and was a safe place for my family to spend a weekend get away.

Driving Distance: Yosemite National Park (31 miles), Sugar Pine Railroad (29 miles), Bass Lake (22 miles), historic Coarsegold (8 miles), Children’s Hospital (31 miles).
Our driveway is covered in gravel to help keep the dirt down. There is no street parking but the driveway will fit around 8 cars.
