Place was amazingly located, clean and worth the money, however, ….The only problem that we had with this property was the check in process. We booked through Airbnb and was told that the additional verification information would be sent to me three days prior to check in , we never received such email, and have never had to verify myself again after countless bookings, with Airbnb After multiple calls as well as after 4 o’clock I finally got the email from host Sonders On additional info required. Which is kind of a pain in the butt when you’re walking around the streets in New Orleans. After verification again, and the credentials finally being sent to us to check in…, Everything was just perfect Jimmy

Upon arriving, the heater for space was not working. Temperatures outside were in the 20s, and the interior of the Sonder was in the mid 40s. I had to physically open the air handler and reset circuit breakers to get it working and to an acceptable temperature. The shower curtain liner was missing, so water got out of the shower every time it was used. There is a leak in the back bedroom window, so water would accumulate on the floor on the right side of the bed. The couch in the living room has notable water stains, and generally disheveled. There is inadequate hot water for even a single full shower, but this may be due to the water heater being used by multiple units. Outside keypad doesn’t register key presses consistently, which could be dangerous depending on the time of day. Overall, pick another property.

Our party of 5 had a great stay at the Vitascope during our visit to NOLA. The apartment is centrally located, and provided a good respite after sightseeing. It was surprisingly quiet considering the bustling activity on the street 4 floors below us. Upon arrival, we found the entry hall had 2 doors, one marked 'Stairs', and one blank. I tried it and it seemed locked, so we thought we may need to climb the 4 floors. One of our party contacted host, and learned that the 2nd door accessed a back hall with an elevator. It would be helpful if the 2nd door was labeled w/ what lay behind? On day 2, we contacted the host for more coffee, and found it waiting at our entry upon our return. We'd not planned on doing much cooking during our stay as NO has so many great restaurants, but our unit was lacking a good assortment of pots & pans. Not a problem for us, but worth noting. Beds were comfortable, but only 3 dining chairs and 1 chair/sofa (a bit dingy) in our unit. Great Stay!

Great location but hard to find. Spacious inside, super comfortable beds. We were literally walking distance of everything. Parking is not included and parking garages are not close by. If you are staying multiple days, expect to spend $50 per day on parking. My only complaint was seating, not enough seating and the only couch you could sit on had multiple questionable stains. We stayed for 3 days and had a blast.
