Surpassed our expectations, this home, and host went above and beyond anything we could have asked for! Considering it rained the entirety of our stay- minus the day we left (of course lol) -we never ran out of things to do in this house. I've never felt more at peace and relaxed than during my stay at this beautiful and well taken care of property. You never really get the backstory of homes that are listed on Airbnb but whatever this homes story is it is one that is filled with love. We could absolutely tell. Every little touch put a smile on our faces and I cannot wait to book again maybe end of summer or early fall, fingers crossed!!! The host is so caring and gives such a detailed and very informative PDF to download as well as a physical copy at the home. If you think the pictures are beautiful wait until you see this home in person! I had a list of 68 properties on my wishlist for this trip to CT this home was by far the best decision I could have made! Thank you Elizabeth
Lovely and spacious home. Hosts were great. View is nice. We enjoyed the fireplace. Cell service weak but the land line inside the home is good alternative. Very pleasant and relaxing, a great place to stay in northwest CT.

This is a lovely country home, and a wonderful family space with a well equipped kitchen.
Elizabeth was a perfect host. She was proactive, responsive, helpful and friendly. We felt right at home in her fabulous house. And she went out of her way to constantly add value and enhance our stay. For example, Elizabeth had the piano tuned ahead of our arrival and sent me a message about nearby swimming she'd recently discovered. The house is big, gracious, well appointed and full of amenities such as a hammock, washer/dryer and big-screen television.
