This is a very nice and secure location. With the windows closed, was quiet. When the windows are open, the near by firehouse could be distracting but at night they rarely used their sirens. Place was very comfortable and had everything I need for my stay.

The unit is a nice size with relatively good sunlight coming in and the large table was really good for a work from home set up. I felt I had everything I needed to cook and the bathroom was nicer than other's I've seen in SF. There's relatively good storage space for clothes and other items in the unit and there's more storage available downstairs. I didn't have too many issues with the neighborhood and found it easy to commute to my office near salesforce park when needed (~20 min walk). The unit is in a smaller alleyway which I think kept noise at minimum. I only had noise issues on 2 occasions in a month and both lasted no more than 30 mins. Had some issues with the dryer and lighting but I think that was unique to my time period. If the price works for you, yes I'd recommend the place and would stay again.

The apartment was great for a 3 month stay in SF! While the immediate neighborhood didn't have much going on, it is an easy walk to downtown or Mission Bay. 5-15 minute walk to transit that will take you anywhere in the city or the bay. Apartment was clean, kitchen sufficiently stocked, grocery stores a few blocks away. The bed was comfortable and room very dark, can get a little noisy with the windows open but they are well insulated when closed. The hosts are super responsive and friendly. All in all a solid choice if you are looking to stay in the neighborhood.

The place was as described and while the hosts weren’t there for check in they were responsive and communication was clear. As a single female the only thing I would say is that while it was close to SF downtown, the area felt a little unsafe, but that might be reflective of SF in general.

Nice and spacious apartment with lots of storage space, good shower, large windows, nice living room with fireplace and huge TV. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and can be darkened well using the curtains. The whole building is nice and clean. Central location with good public transport options, grocery stores, restaurants etc. nearby. Given that it is located in SOMA, relatively quiet and nice small street that feels safe (as long as one avoids sixth street). After moving in, we missed a few things (e.g., a vacuum cleaner, more than one pot), which were provided by the host upon request in a timely manner. The kitchen is large and has all necessary electric appliances, but provides only the bare minimum of further equipment (pots, pans, plates, cutlery) in poor quality. Some of the furniture is indeed "brand new" as mentioned in the title, but the apartment itself is not (it is not particularly old, either). The washing machine does not clean clothes well. There are ants in the bathroom (there are ant baits, but they are not sufficient to solve the problem). Communication with the host was ok but could have been better. All in all, we had a nice 1.5 months stay, but there are also some disadvantages.
