This basement apartment is in an incredible location, which for us was the main appeal. Walkable to a great ice cream place and dog-friendly bakery/coffee shop. You could also walk to a grocery store and lovely dog park if you wanted, but we drove and it was under 7 minutes away. The bed was sooo comfortable but the linens smelled as if they were left in the washer too long. The kitchen was great for our needs and I appreciated the full sized refrigerator. The bathroom is tight and the shower could use a deep clean. You can hear footsteps/music upstairs as expected in a basement, but it never went on past 9pm which was no problem for us. Some ants were also present but it wasn’t overwhelming, as again we are in a basement. We appreciated the kindness of the host’s welcome message, the extra toilet paper left for us without having to ask, and that there wasn’t a huge to-do list asked of us upon checkout (although we made sure to take out our trash and tidy anyway).

The place is a clean basement apartment that worked well for my family’s. We loved that our dog was welcome and that there is a fully fenced in yard. Yard could use some clean up but winter has just ended so its not unexpected. There is a fire pit, table and chairs to sit outside. You pass through the hosts yard to get to your own fenced in area. The apartment had pretty much everything we needed. Some parts a little wonky, not particularly fancy, but very homey and perfect for us. Small shower with good water pressure. Everything except shampoo was fully stocked and much appreciated! Including kitchen ware, coffee, soap, spices, paper towels. Travis was welcoming and communicative. We texted upon arrival then we just did our own thing. Expect to occasionally hear foot steps upstairs, but that didn’t bother us, and we enjoyed a peaceful stay in a whole apartment right in town. Quiet street, close to everything, full kitchen, clean space, comfortable bed - we would happily stay again!
