From the moment we booked this little “corner of the planet” we knew it was perfect little spot. When vacationing I feel it is important to have a place you can retreat back to that feels like home. Somewhere that I can stay in and feel comfortable and at peace. David and Heathers place was just that. From the scenic views to the quiet living arrangements, this place was the perfect fit. I would recommended it to anyone staying around Colorado Springs. Thank you again to David and Heather for making the New Year even more special for me and my significant other. We will forever cherish our vacation. However, your place made it that much more special for us. Happy New Year yet again! I can’t wait to stay with you again!

I cannot recommend Heather and David's place enough! The location is beautiful, the lodgings extremely clean, private, and quiet. You will not go wrong with spending your time here!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Check-in was easy and quick, the apartment was cosy and comfortable; just right for two people. Our hosts were very prompt and helpful with any problems we had. Everything was very clean and convenient. I could not help noticing that the apartment was sized very well for tall people - toilet, countertops and fixtures were at a very good level for the reach of a tall person. We don't often see that! The view down on the city from above was tremendous! We saw several beautiful sunrises. Shops and restaurants are within a few minutes' drive. And the location meant that we had the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife - most notably deer and wild turkeys! I would add that the turkeys seemed quite confident, despite the fact that it was November! They had no problem with our snapping several pictures. And we located some hiking trails right in the neighborhood!

Great place just up the hillside from The Broadmoor Hotel & grounds. Really felt like a getaway! First time to Colorado Springs for me, but husband had been there years ago when he was a kid. The home was close to all the "touristy" things we wanted to do - Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, etc. Wish the area to let our dog out had been a little more grassy, but it may be the nature of the landscape on the mountain. We were hoping to see a bear as in the pics, but I think that may have been more likely on the backside of the house, not the patio side. We did see a ton of deer in the area in the evenings on our drives to dinner and back. Overall, a great stay!
