Check in went well. Space was very small. Advertised as for 6. Would have been small for 4. Sofa was dirty, small and old. No way someone could sleep on it. Bathroom was size of a closet. Vent didn’t work and had a paper plate in it to try to divert the cold air away from the shower. Advertised as having pots,pans, ect. None there and no cooking surface. Carpet old and stained. Not only got all the noise from the street and sidewalk but also heard anyone coming up the stairs at night. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

The Heaton Suite is a spacious stay in downtown Yankton and a unique rental option in the area. They unit has a historic vibe but some might think it is more dingy than historic depending on what you are looking for. This unit is on the 2nd floor and the stairs are pretty steep which you might want to consider if you have heavy luggage. The unit is also in the downtown area so you do hear the street noise especially on a Friday or Saturday night. The location is close to bars and to the historic walking bridge/Riverfront area. There is a coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator but does not have any cooking options, toaster, etc.
