We didn’t intend to go to Lydd but we’re glad we did. Couple of pubs and shops in walking distance and beaches a short drive away. Without a doubt the house was the star of the weekend (no pun intended). Much better than the pictures and write up - they dont do it justice. There was so much space lots of rooms and bathrooms and we all felt at home as soon as we walked in. Everything we needed was there and Mary was spot on with everything. We would without doubt go back in a heartbeat. xxx

An amazing fireplace, very spacious, very well equipped kitchen, there were 12 of us, and we really enjoyed ourselves, thank you.

A truly beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped, and plenty of room for us 10, with a secure garden for our little dog. Perfectly placed fir spending time in nearby Rye. Will definitely be returning. Many thanks to Mary for a wonderful weekend.

This place definitely has character and a lovely garden but needs a thorough, good clean and some maintenance work doing. It smelt fusty and hadn't been cleaned to the expected standard. There were cobwebs everywhere and one of the party found a pubic hair on the floor in their ensuite. Some of the windows didn't close properly and hadn't been cleaned either. The location is good for visiting Rye and Camber Sands.

The house was fantastic for a larger group with a lovely sunny garden. Mary was a great host - very detailed instructions and were very responsive right through. We had an issue with getting inside on the first day and someone was with us in two mins. She was also very flexible on checkout. Had an amazing stay! Would highly recommend!
