Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to stay at Skyforest. We arrived in LA from Europe the night before we were due to arrive at Skyforest. There was an unexpected snowfall overnight and the California Highway Police advised that snowchains were required to travel to Lake Arrowhead. We were not aware of this until we were within 5 miles of the location, we could not obtain snowchains for our rental car, we tried to leave the car and get a taxi up to Lake Arrowhead but no taxis were travelling down the mountain. For our safety and in line with police guidance, we could not complete the trip to Lake Arrowhead. Darcy was helpful communiacting the situation but unfortunately Skyforest's policy would not facilitate a refund of our payment, despite our best efforts to get there in circumstances beyond our control. This was disappointing.

Super old place, all the furnitures, house, beds and carpets smelled terrible. Beds very uncomfortable and seemed clean but smelled like urine.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed for our trip. The host, Darcy, was very friendly and communicative before and throughout our stay. The view was breathtaking, and the location was perfect we loved being so close to restaurants and Santa Village was 15 minutes walking distance. Check-in was smooth and easy. Overall, we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay near Santa Village.

Had a great stay, very comfortable and great furniture layout. Best thing was the amazing view from the dining table, especially during sunset. Very cozy and comfy, was perfect for hanging out after snowboarding at Snow Valley Resort, which is less than 20 minutes away. We had a great time and wonderful rest at this home.
