This 4-bedroom ski-in/ski-out townhome seamlessly combines modern high-tech features and cozy comforts. Newly decorated throughout, this spacious and beautiful end unit townhome in Northern Lights is a fantastic location for proximity to the village and ski hill. Fully loaded with 4-bedrooms + flexible den bedroom/media room to sleep up to 12 adults + 2 children. The open concept kitchen and living area is warm and welcoming with gas fireplace, and a large projection screen that is hidden in the ceiling. Dine up to 10 guests at the beautiful live-edge dining table, and an additional 4 at the bar. Conveniently watch the big game inside, or from the super large 8-person hot tub located on one of the two patios off of the living room. Relax on the sectional patio furniture in the summer months. Also on this split-level is the kids bunk room with a queen bed on the bottom, and single on top with shared full bathroom accessible as an ensuite. Upstairs is a master suite with king bed and deluxe ensuite with walk-in shower. Down a level from the main floor are two more spacious bedrooms; the first is a second master bedroom a king bed and small patio, and the other with a king bed as well as another queen/twin bunk bed combo. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms complete with towel warmers and automatic bidet toilets (only one with bathtub), as well as one HD-TV and in-wall speakers allowing everyone to retreat and relax in their own spaces as desired. On the lowest level is a media room with a large sectional sofa, smart television and surround sound. The built-in media centre has a queen pulldown Murphy bed to convert the den into a 5th bedroom. Enter through the garage door with your skis, where there is space for 2 vehicles and all of your winter gear to hang and warm up before your next ski day. This unit includes an oversized laundry machines in the large laundry room. Live in comfort year-round with forced air heat, air-conditioning and humidity control. Ski runs are ski-in and only a 10-minute warm-up walk up away. There is parking for 2 vehicles in the garage and 2 on the driveway. Guest parking is also available. BEDROOM LAYOUT: Sleeps 12 Adults + 2 Children Top Floor (entry Level): Master bedroom with King Bed, large ensuite Split off Main level: Kids room with queen/twin bunk + optional trundle 2 Down: King bed with ensuite and private patio, King bed + queen/twin bunk (this ensuite has a bathtub) 3 Down: Den/Media room with a queen murphy bed All guests must be over the age of 28, or consist of a family group. Please note that for peak FESTIVE PERIODS, we accept a 7-night rental over Christmas OR New Years Weeks, or a 14-night minimum reservation if the reservation falls over both holidays. Only arrivals/departures on Dec 26/27/28/29th will be considered. If you instant book and the dates do not work, we reserve the right to cancel. Midstay cleans are mandatory on any booking at/over 7 nights.
The house was incredible and the host was extremely responsive. The C4 control system had to be rebooted but was taken care of very quickly. The price is a bit high to ask that the trash be taken down the block to the dumpster.
The location and the host were great. Loved that they were able to get us dinner reservations last minute. Provided great recs and discounts for retail. Would definitely recommend to stay here again.
We had a wonderful week with 13 people, and the home was lovely. The common areas were cozy but still everyone had a private space to retreat to and for sleeping. Kitchen and dining are were just perfect! The hot tub was great.
The house was very nice, spacious and outfitted with great features. The kitchen was amazing to cook in and came fully-equipped. The hot tub was also great (though sadly a pump was broken and half of the jets didn't work for us.) One disappointment is the house was not ski-in/ski-out as advertised. We have stayed at a number of properties across ski areas in North America and this did not fit the definition. The ski-out entailed a 10 min walk to a staircase of 50 stairs followed by an icy uphill climb to the ski run. The ski-in was just the reverse. This was such a safety concern that we ended up driving to the base parking lot the next two days. We were willing to pay a premium for this property because we were under the impression that it was a true ski-in/ski-out location. Even with a lot of snow, we cannot see how it would be ski-in/ski-out. All in all, we really did enjoy staying at the house and enjoyed its amenities. Just not certain it is worth the premium cost.
This beautiful chalet is tucked away in a peaceful neighbourhood with stunning panorama views of the mountains and forest and easy access to a staircase for ski-in ski-out. Located 300m above the main village, you are in the middle of the action. With a calm residential area, you do not have any of the village noise, but close enough that everything is just a short walk away.
Northern Lights 42 is located just above the main village area. Only a 10 - 15 minute walk down to the centre of town, you are located in the best place in town. In order to access the mountain you walk down the street for approx 4 minutes, up a flight of stairs and short hike you are skiing down the main Whistler ski run to the gondola a short distance below.
