Delightful stay at the Picket Post, gorgeous house, beautifully presented and conveniently located for a country walk to the local eatery. Breakfast was again so well presented and delicious. The thing that really made it for me is that Julie went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, a lovely and kind host. :)

Beautiful room in historic farmhouse. It was so peaceful and our room looked out on to the canal. Julie was very friendly and our room was lovely. The bathroom was shared but we were the only residents and it was spotlessly clean. A continental breakfast is included and is was so plentiful. Fruit, cold meats and cheese, cereal and croissants and toast. Was very tasty. As other people have mentioned you could hear the tv from the room below at times but it did not spoil our stay. I had the best nights sleep in ages. Will definitely return.

We had a great stay at Julie's place. The cosy but modernised country house was recently refurbished and looked great from the outside and inside. Great decorative elements and other interesting furniture and pictures. Very characteristic breakfast room with fireplace, silverware and other gems. The breakfast itself was stunning and Julie and her husband were great hosts overall. Can definitely recommend and we certainly intend to return early 2022.

A beautifully located Airbnb next to the canal and not far from the A6. The location is so peaceful and the host very helpful and attentive.
