Lovely weekend in the Boathouse. Nice quiet location and a beautiful setting on the lake with the ducks for company was great. The bedroom is small but it is nice and clean - perfect for a couple. Hot tub went down a treat tucked away around the side of the lodge. Marshmallows were given to us for toasting on the fire which was a lovely touch. The lodge, play areas and activities are in need of a refresh as they are quite dated/tired however all still in use and work. Love the free use of boats, we went on a rowing boat and it was good fun! We used the local taxi service and also the local Chinese takeaway delivered to us. Really nice romantic get away for a couple.

Fab couple of nights at the boat house! Lovely surroundings!! Loved feeding all the ducks in the morning. Would definitely return.

I stayed three nights at the Boat House with my boyfriend for a little romantic getaway. There are no words to describe how much we loved it. Everything was perfect, from start to finish, and we truly had the best time. We will never forget this stay, and will for sure be back. Special mention to the bed that was extremely comfortable! Thank you so much for having us! :)
