It was perfect - I was taking my elderly parents away for a week and the lodge and the site was ideal - there are no facilities on apart from the fishing so it was lovely to sit and watch and listen to nature. Scorton was minutes away for essentials. The lodge was ideally situated for exploring Lancashire which is absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very responsive with any queries we had. Thank you

The cabin was fantastic. It was clean and well presented and had all the cutlery, pots and pans and other bits and pieces that we needed. The view over the lake was great and the private balcony was peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. We didn't fish ourselves but those in the cabin next door caught loads! We will miss the ducks!

My family of 4 with 2 boys had booked 4 nights and we had ok time here but it fell short of being a great holiday. Location is great but highway noise is noticeable and audible at the lakes. While first entering, the whole property had a very strong smell of pets everywhere which we felt was unwelcoming and we had to vacuum the entire place as pet hair was on sofa and beds too! But the cabin was spacious and comfortable with all facilities.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the comfortable spacious lodge situated in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Direct private access to fishing on the lake at the bottom the garden and plenty of outdoor seating in the garden and under cover on verandah. Full kitchen facilities in clean, good condition and comfortable sofas in lounge area. Bedrooms good with the en-suite a useful addition to the bathroom. Large parking area immediately at the side of the property.
