Welcome to San Francisco's Crocker Amazon neighborhood! Relax in this stylish, quiet space. This is a new (2022) detached studio (240 sq ft, 22 sq meters), with a private driveway entrance, and free off street parking. Settle in with the comfy queen bed, European style wet bathroom, high end kitchen area with an electric kettle, drip coffee kit, full fridge, combo oven/air fryer, induction cooktop and dishwasher. I hope you enjoy the personal touches that will ensure a comfortable stay. La Casita is a detached studio behind my home. It was a derelict garage, in its former life! My neighborhood is close to several bus lines (#8 and #43, <2 block walk for stops), and BART is about a 1.2 mile walk to the west, for quick access to downtown or SFO. There is also the beautiful McLaren Park a block north, which offers amazing views of the San Francisco Bay, and maybe wildlife, if you keep your eyes open (coyotes!).

Such a lovely, refreshing stay! The place is meticulously cared for and Linda has thought of everything you might need for a stay here. She was friendly, helpful and super responsive. The place is cozy, airy, and comfortable as well as beautifully and modernly decorated. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

My residential neighborhood is extremely quiet, by urban standards. There are nearby bus lines, and I’m about a 20 minute ride to SFO.
Street sweeping is at noon on Thursday this side of the street, Tuesday the other side of the street.
This is a City - car window vandalism is a big problem all over. Leave nothing visible in your car. Please.
Clipper Cards (BART and Muni) are used for public transportation. Download the app and load your card onto your phone before arriving, for easiest use. Or you can purchase a card at any BART station or Muni Station.
Several local bus lines will get you to downtown - the #43 or the #8 will take you to the nearby Balboa Park BART station. The #8 will take you all the way to North Beach/Fisherman's Wharf in about 55 minutes! You can take the #8 to the T Muni Line which will pass the Chase Auditorium (Warriors) and Oracle Park (Giants) on the way to Chinatown.

I'm a retired Registered Nurse, living in my lovely home in San Francisco, along with my doggies, Honey the Golden mix, and Winnie the Shih Tzu. I love to travel, and have had some wonderful experiences with Airbnb. While La Casita was under construction, all during Covid (!), I envisioned a space that I would like to stay in, while traveling, wherever in the world.
