We made a last minute booking to stay with Zoe and what a lovely find! The cabin was perfect for us with everything we needed in a little kitchen. Zoe thoughtfully already had the cabin warm for us arriving and it was so toasty. Lovely views over the fields, so quiet and we had such a peaceful night. We were only disappointed that we had only stayed one night and had to leave! We will definitely return to make the most of the walks around the area and enjoy more relaxing.
A great spot to break our end of holiday drive home, from Skye to Wales. Perfect instructions from Zoe to guide us in as it is a little tucked away. A peaceful retreat and welcome rest on the journey. Cute balcony/terrace, just enough room for two to watch the sun go down with a cold wine. Spotless inside, warm and cozy, we slept so well, ready and recharged for an early start. A great host who greeted us on arrival, then let us relax and unwind. Highly recommended.
This was our second stay here, as its such a perfect stop for our trips up to the highlands. Zoe and Tony are so lovely, it was a pleasure to come back and stop in their shepherd's hut again. Its such a peaceful and tranquil place, with the warmest and comfiest bed inside, coupled with the sounds of wildlife and darkest starry skies outside. So good! Thanks again! Dennis & Jo x
Super shepherd's hut. Very friendly hosts on hand with local information and a lovely punnet of freshly picked raspberries! Peaceful location with lovely views and wildlife. Drumlanrig castle gardens, tearoom and mountain bike trails (with showers available) all recommended.
Lovely little place, nice and clean and we would stay again if we were in the area.

自我介绍
Tony and I live in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway in a newly built Passive Haus standard home, which we love. The house looks out onto grass land and rolling hills. We are building our garden to be somewhat uncultivated, with wild grasses and flowers, and a vegetable patch which should be productive this year. There will be no pesticides or chemical fertilisers used on the ground. The Shepherd’s Hut was put together primarily as a fun place for grandchildren to come and stay in, but also for others who would like something a little different.
