Airbnb status appears due to private ownership, in building where many/most apartments are inhabited by owners or longer-term tenants. It is a base for tourists’ forays: does not masquerade as a home. Serious kitchenette appliances (apart from dubious fridge), contrast with paucity of lesser utensils, testifying that guests aren’t really expected to arrive with culinary ambitions. Nor need they. Variety of coffee/dining options nearby. Well-located, well-managed, secure and clean. In convenient anonymity, similar to the Bourke St Melbourne Citadine apartments where I stayed pre-Airbnb days. Considerably pricier, but economy of scale must play a role. This place suited me reasonably well, for a brief sojourn. The combination of my crippling kitchen-sink instinct for packing, and the distance, plus layers of security between car park and apartment made arrival and departure onerous. Knowing, now, to adjust my logistics, I’d gladly be a return guest.

Thanks to Ben, our check-in process was seamless, even with our late arrival. His responsiveness, even during late hours, left us very impressed. The apartment itself is charming and incredibly comfortable. I've been sleeping soundly knowing that I'm in a safe environment. The convenience of the gated, remote-accessible carpark is a huge plus, eliminating any concerns about navigating a dark, quiet public space. Overall, our experience has been nothing short of fabulous."

Wonderful stay with a short walk to great shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The unit itself was clean, quiet and a comfy bed. Everything we could ask for during our stay.

hi, I was pleasantly surprised at how quite the studio was. the bed was comfortable and it was central to my family and friends. I will definitely stay again. kindly Deanne
